A new daikaiju has appeared in the heart of Seoul, South Korea. At exactly 10:05 PM local time, a strange reptilian creature appeared from out of a strange, lightning-wracked cloud in the middle of the city, leaving death and destruction as it moved through the buildings. It moved swiftly, with purpose, its arms positioned strangely on its body as though holding a massive bag slung over its shoulder. It's completely impossible to tell where it came from - or where it went. For several minutes, it strode through the streets in a straight line, before vanishing in a similarly impossible fashion. South Korean military and police forces, as well as the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps, have been put on high alert, in case it appears again.

The giant creature in Seoul has reappeared exactly at 10:05 PM local time again. It's impossible to tell where "Geodaehan" - as the local news stations have dubbed it (It means "Colossal" in Korean) will appear, but this time, it did not move anywhere, and the second appearance was far less destructive than the first: it arrived standing perfectly still, one hand next to its ear, before making a number of bizarre gestures, turning around, and vanishing again. It actually looked quite a bit like it was talking to someone on a cell phone at first. I'm not sure what to make of it. I've been summoned by a UN task force to Seoul. As the creature arrives and vanishes before any jaegers can be fully deployed, Tacit Ronin will be on standby just outside the city limits, apparently the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps claims that there's no proof that it ISN'T from the rift, so the usual yellow tape preventing jaegers from interference in other kaiju attacks doesn't apply here.

Geodaehan was a no-show last night. Tacit Ronin left the area at 5:32 this morning, Coyote Tango will be taking its place for tonight.

June 12
Geodaehan's actions last night were even more bizarre. The kaiju simply appeared, raised its left hand over its head, dropped it, then spread both hands wide, and dropped them before turning and leaving again. Coyote Tango didn't even get a chance to reach it. The jaeger will be replaced by Tacit Ronin for tonight's shift.
