I knew this would happen.
I'm getting sick of that.
I have a number of useful contacts in Ingen itself, and the news that has reached my ears is troubling. Everyone in the public has been informed of the newest attempt at genetic engineering attempted by Ingen: Indominus rex. How it's as large as a Tyrannosaurus, as smart as a Velociraptor, and more vicious and dangerous than either. How it's currently being held in a secure facility several miles from the center of the park. How it'll be ready for display soon...
But not everyone has heard the other side of the story. How it's actually designed as part of a military research project, a BOW capable of incredible devastation. How it contains Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus, and worst of all, human genetic material. And worst of all, up until a few hours ago, Masrani apparently had no idea about any of this.
Now, Dr. Wu has vanished into an Ingen helicopter, Masrani is dead, The Indominus has escaped, and people are dying like flies as the Pterosaurs - which have been released by the monster - pick them off one by one.
Now, while the Pterosaurs swoop and wail over all our heads, what temporary shelter we have found within the walls of the hotel's eatery has been shattered. Jurassic World is collapsing around our ears. From what I have heard, the pack of Velociraptors has been turned loose as well, and the Indominus is leading them. There's no way on Earth that Ingen will ever be able to legitimately conduct business with the public again.
Now, there's only one thing left for me to do: leave the safety of our shelter, and try to get to a bunker.
Yet, for the latest time in a long series of reminders... I feel so very, very old.
Oh, hell, this is ridiculous. Time for me to go before I start believing my own nonsense!
