This picture has near perfect composition. The balance is graded well from the top to the bottom. Her face is solemn and outstanding and the rest of the body seems to melt away. I love this overall peice but in and of itself i feel as though it is missing something. It has many coulours, but none that stand out. The face is the obvious centerpeice but i seem to be distracted by the many colours behind it. Regardless of that, the orange is an excellent highlight in the face and hair. It really helps draw my attention there. Maybe if there had been more contrasting colours behind it it would help draw my attention to it, but thats just my opinion.
In the end it is an excellent piece with amazing composition, but, to me, it needs a little more "oomphf" to send it over the edge!
