I really like this photograph, it's very well focus and appeals to the eyes. You can really see the vibrant purple of the flower against the green background and the focus on the flower and stalk while the background is blurred out draws you immediately to the flower itself.

I also love the little insect in the center, it really brings to mind the size of the flower in relation to other things around it.
The focus on the flower works well to show the way the yellow runs into the purple and contrasting bright yellow of the flower itself.
