*Please do not repost or reblog without my permission, thanks.*A re-imagining of Dinah Drake-Lance as a world renowned tournament fighter (although its iconic, i left out the fishnets). In the DCU she's a metapowered vigilante, melee combatant & uses a sonic scream attack. Black Canary belongs to DC Comics, thanks for the view.

Being around her extended family for so long (The JSA), it activated the meta-gene inside her.

very few superheroes in the DC universe get powers like the ones in Marvel do. And it wasn't even radiation. Apparently the meta-gene activated when she was in her late teens. Doctor Fate helped her gain control over the scream.

I got the whole series.......I was so bummed that stupid parents made them change bits of the Birds of Prey song.....which was one big innuendo.....hysterical!!!!
I loved that show (yeah it may be silly), because it got to spotlight so many unsung heroes and heroines, like the JSA, Black Orchid, Plastic Man

Ah, finally, you got to the cream of the crop for me. My beautiful Black Canary. This is a different look for thats for sure, especially since she doesn't have her trademark fishnets

One of the best. Yeah fishnets wouldn't work with the costume. Out of the Birds members, Canary is my favorite. Shes up there with Babs and Catwoman in terms of favorite heroines. It actually goes Babs, Steph, Canary, Catwoman and Huntress
