My glasses broke. Like, they were all twisted up and the lense was missing and I was freaking the fuck out because it happened the day I was supposed to cosplay Sniper at AX. So I was all "Uh. Uh. Uh. BLOOD!" and proceeded to dump Ben Nye stage blood on my face to make it look like I'd survived a head shot. Convenient that it was on the same side as the bullet holes in my hat, isn't it?

In this photo I just painted them on with liquid eyeliner, lol. In the past I have applied false sideburns with lace and hair and whatever, but it was kind of a hassle. Thank you for the praise!

How'd you manage to get the bullet holes to look so good? It even looks slightly singed around the edges like a high powered shot would leave if it were close

First I cut them out of the hat with just plain old scissors. Then I actually singed the edges with a lighter but it didn't get it looking scorched enough so I used some dark brown acrylic paint around it to get it looking more so. Glad you like it.
