Description When do we start?

The way he says that in that almost seductive/mocking tone, can be interpreted in many ways, or even what exactly he means. Does this 'when' refer to Thor's, ''when' you betray me, I will kill you'? Or to, let's get it over it with then, 'start', & kill me now. Or, when do we start to team up, for me to help you? Bad enough he expects him TO betray him. Loki is like a double-edged sword, he cuts (with) both sides, without cutting himself, or indeed make it appear he has, to plot some more. Of course he could say that to someone else entirely, or on a different occasion, or even in a different place & this is not his cell at all. Trailer editing is notoriously misdirecting.

Now with the official trailer for Thor The Dark World finally released, the mere seconds of Loki sitting in his large glass cell - another one - uttering cited quotation, clad in ripped & perhaps even bloodied rags, finally however confirm to a legion of fans just how long his hair will be. I for one was spot-on several times ever since I started posting my long-haired Lokis, & even Toms last year, & I couldn't be more elated. And of course had to paint at least one of the screenshots I took.

This time I didn't need to improvise on how long his hair would be or leave out a stubble (thank gods he is clean-shaven!). Though, unlike before, it's not brushed back but fallen into his face, which makes him look far more feminine & soft-featured. No doubt the very opposite of how he feels. Recreating the ripped shirt was nothing short of a messy colour & brush battle to make it look like rough fabric in not too accurate strokes though it looks far too soft & messy. But hey, it matches his soft & messy hair, hahaha. I added a bit more shadow & as usual some highlights to lend it more contrast & vibrancy, & gave him bright green eyes, to go with the green rags.

I was tempted to make them look neater, but I refrained from that, since he's obviously in a cell & the torn condition of his flimsy clothes bring home the fact that after two years of imprisonment they had either turned like that from general wear & tear, or indeed suffered abuse, if not even torture. There are other less nasty explanations, but looking at the generally state of the cell, with a table, some books & a carafe neatly placed on it, it's rather odd to not provide new clothes, or at least prison issue every now & then. But then again he most certainly is not an ordinary 'prisoner', locked away from everyone - like a stolen relic indeed, until they might have 'use' of him. Funny it should be Thor to call on his help. I guess we'll have to wait another half year to find out why he looks so bedraggled.

One thing I've noticed, though, & painted in as too obvious, he seems to have abrasions on at least one knuckle & joint on his left hand. Dark World is set over a year after Avengers so they can never be from his Hulk-smash encounter, he's healing for more rapidly than that. So, unless it's from some abuse, has Loki been punching the walls of his cell in rage? It's said that there's a scene in the film where he goes berserk & screams & shouts like a madman (probably on the news that Frigga was killed, the one person he trusted & truly loved him & no doubt could not attend her funeral). The teaser made Loki out to look a defeated/sneering badass in this scene, but the magic of editing & misdirection is definitely at work here. How did Tom put it, all will be revealed in good time.

Note, this is a cleaned-up/retouched edit as of September 2013, & with a more visible name in white replacing the black lettering, after this particular piece was messed with more than any other by so called 'fans' who have no respect for others' work.

Yeah, I think he literally went up the walls in his rage & grief, clawed himself into a breakdown, no doubt over her loss, & that he of course could not say farewell.

Not sure if I said that to you too, since I chat with others about Loki & scenes & stuff, but I believe in that scene here, the 'scream' in particular might have been rather Tom getting into character for it & all we saw was the aftermath, that's why it wasn't in the film. And it actually doesn't really fit, since then the shock/surprise effect/factor of his breakdown/revelation to Thor/us had entirely failed.

And they must have filmed it twice, since in one set of shots the walls are in fact not dirtied, & there are two different screams from the same angle, with his sleeves are up or down, of which the second was only in the Japanese trailer.

There's also different 'slipper' footage when he mocks Thor, one with his hair like this in clean prison outfit, & the other neatly done back as seen in the Frigga visitation scene.

Funny how we all theorised about the brown stains on his shirt from the very first trailer footage, this, when it was in fact the forcefield patterns no one knew of then, since it was seen from outside his cell, (filmed) through the red/shimmering barrier.

Thanks for faving evocative Loki!

wow this is beautiful art! I thought it was a picture at first that you edited or something. i read your first paragraph, and i agree. Loki says it in a mocking tone, kind of. I mean it can be interpreted in different ways. what i thought of it is more like, "hah, that's funny. when are you gonna get me out, now?" because he was smiling (i'm guessing about Thor's "funny" threat or that he's letting him out) and then the second part because i believe loki really REALLY wants to get out of that cage.

Any quote from Loki can be interpreted in many ways. That's why he's the trickster. He's so hard to understand and i feel bad for Thor, lol. but i still love our little frostigant.

AdmiralDeMoy In reply to verona111 [2013-04-26 15:37:42 +0000 UTC]

You're absolutely right. That's what makes the character so intriguing - so Machiavellian. Maybe Thor even said something after he threatened him & Loki replies to 'that', rather than the threat - or to 'when' to let him out. It's all a matter of clever editing.

Thank you for the compliment!

oh yeah! How did I not think about that? you're totally right. The whole trailer is edited, so Loki might be answering to something else, entirely!
kind of like the Sif thing. Maybe she's looking at Jane, or maybe at Loki.

You're very welcome!

AdmiralDeMoy In reply to verona111 [2013-04-27 21:53:36 +0000 UTC]

Absolutely. A trailer most of all is a tool of deliberate misdirection to attract a potential audience.

You only need to look at the frame where Thor is fighting someone OUTSIDE Loki's cell, yet, Loki is nowhere to be seen & the cell is open for that (no doubt Dark Elf) body lying right there in the doorway. So, where is he? And why is Thor fighting inside his very prison; did he escape, or did the Elves free him on Malekith's order? For all we know that scene between Loki & Thor might take place AFTER he had escaped or was freed, & then was recaptured - hence his messy state - & only THEN Thor asked him for help.

It appears like this was probably once part of the treasure vault they converted into these glassed cells just for him. It all looks too 'clean' for being part of a nasty dungeon & I'm not sure if they would resort to such barbaric medieval measures. They surely must have proper prison installations on Asgard & this might in fact be a very 'special' one. Exclusively designed for Loki, they cannot simply do away with, kill, execute, since he's far too 'precious' & 'useful'. But they can 'hide' him, to BE that stolen relic, locked away for further use indeed.

verona111 In reply to AdmiralDeMoy [2013-04-28 01:10:37 +0000 UTC]

Wait I'm sorry, which part are you talking about? Where was Thor fighting outside Loki's cell?
Pardon me, I saw the trailer 12 times (counting!) but you seem to be VERY observant. That's really awesome. I must see something many times to notice it, haha.

But that's very true, however. And it makes sense that Loki's hair was Avenger-style in the scene with Thor and Jane, but later it's messed up. Maybe the snowy scene was before the cell scene , as you said. And you're right, Malekith must've used him for something. I mean, doesn't it smell a little fishy to you? Loki won't just HELP Thor from the kindness of his heart. He must want something in return. (other than getting out) because i'm pretty sure Thor would return him back after he uses him. Loki would still be untrustworthy, because Thor'd think that Loki helped him to trick him into thinking he's repented... And then if Thor left him out, He'll escape somewhere again and cause more trouble. Does that make sense?

I, too, was surprised by how nice the cell looked. I mean it's shiny clean, and he has water and books for entertainment. Plus, it's a glass cell, so he can look outside and not feel claustrophobic. But I kind disagree with you there. I think it IS a cell, because i'm pretty sure Asgard has many cells for criminals. and maybe, just maybe, Odin actually cared about him enough to put him in one of the good ones. Maybe Odin still cares about him? I don't know, but he WAS once the prince of Asgard. No matter what he did, he doesn't deserve to go down into a dirty cell where all the other unknown/unloved criminals are.
Maybe this is a special cell? Like a royal cell? haha, if there is such thing. XD

AdmiralDeMoy In reply to verona111 [2013-04-28 04:55:42 +0000 UTC]

The outside-Loki's-cell fight is a mere frame short & you miss it even if not blinking. I was in fact studying that body lying in the window/door frame if it might have been Loki, unconscious, attacked, while Thor is fighting off some Elves, since there's others on the floor - dead, apparently. But it appears it's another Dark Elf, though I wouldn't bet on it.

It's said Loki & Malekith team up in order to fight Thor, for whatever reason, before he switches sides & helps Thor instead - or play/ed both sides, or Malekith only, & how that comes about & why, either way, is anyone's guess, or if true. So, Malekith/Kurse might have freed him & then Thor visits him after his re/capture, in order to fight Malekith/Kurse they obviously cannot defeat.

Of course Loki will not want to be returned to his prison & might in fact bargain, that, if he helps Thor & everyone's saved later, he lets him go, OR, tells everyone Loki got killed in battle a heroic saviour, redeemed, & he's just hiding out somewhere to plot whatever takes his fancy (or not), so it makes indeed sense that an escaped Loki might cause trouble in the future - for 'whoever' & 'however' he fancies. And is good to go for another film.

As I said, the sequence of the shots in that trailer can be utterly set in reverse - so the Loki/Thor/Jane journey might in fact be set before he's locked up, again even, perhaps. There's a new comic which features that (Marvel-film) Loki ends up in a cave, in rags, beard & messy hair & all, & Thor visits him to ask for help - rather than some nice clean glass cell. No idea if they used that in the film, 'too', & might even be the very end of it, could be part of it, & Loki is recaptured TO that cell. So the lines they exchange are part of two different encounters/days altogether.

I said the cell might be part of a general prison block, & his cell looks like any other - so it can be part of a series of cells for 'special prisoner', true, though I still say it was built especially for him, built into that vault. For one, to be able to 'withstand' his powers - his magic - so he cannot just simply pull another 'when are you ever not going to fall for that' projection trick, & to keep an eye on him if his powers weren't stripped off him. No normal cell can keep him or his powers at bay.

OR indeed, to 'contain' his very powers from others, & himself, not to be able to use them. Who says that 'glass' is just 'glass', for others to gaze on him? I could be his 'Kryptonite'. No ordinary criminal - not even a 'royal one' - would be served with a posh 'glass cell' like that. Loki has powers no one else possesses, not Odin let alone Thor who's only of any 'powers' with his hammer, & if they cannot be neutralised, they must be contained, 'somehow', without killing Loki outright.

You say, it's nice for Loki to be able to look outside - but there's not much to look at, perhaps even the other relics only to mock him. BUT, he has absolutely no privacy that way & cannot do what he likes in there without someone being able to spy on him - it's glassed all around, though there were no guards as far as the scene goes. Maybe outside the actual vault. But it looks more like some 'zoo', where ppl can gape upon 'the monster' & Loki has no way of escaping that. That is basically the equivalent of a total 24/7 CCTV surveillance max security jail with zero privacy.

And, the way the entire vault looks in the frame with Thor fighting some Elves, shows nothing but THAT - an oblong, separate vault with only one end leading to the main doors & the other with that fire crate, up some small steps that could lead to another entrance, or 'window', or indeed more cells of the same or lesser exposed, glassed cells. Though I doubt that.

It appears the dead in the vault are not guards either, so they must be posted outside only, & no one watches Loki per se - unless they visit him - & he cannot avoid any of that. And the way it looks, did a lousy job, since Thor is fighting INSIDE the vault, right outside his opened cell, so the enemy got inside, & what I guess took place is, freed Loki, who buggered off, or, might in fact fight out of shot. For which side is another question.

But he obviously got fed & watered while inside, though we have no way of knowing for how long he was there. BUT, why the hell is he clean-shaven face (& let's just discount the theory that he cannot grow a beard), has fairly neat if unstyled hair, & is dressed in that rag, which appears not so much as 'dirty', but literally torn to shreds. Which, in fact, could have been from some fight, & is messy with his own, or someone else's, blood, if the stains are blood. Could be wine for all we know, hahaha. Seriously, the state of his shirt is a mega puzzle.

verona111 In reply to AdmiralDeMoy [2013-04-28 06:07:28 +0000 UTC]

oh my gosh! I JUST noticed what you were talking about! That's crazy! I never noticed that!

i do not think that's loki, however. Loki's wearing green and even if he was wearing his armor instead, it wouldn't look all black. I think it's another guard like the ones that are dead, on the floor, as you said.

It said that Loki 'first' teams up with Thor, 'then' goes with Malekith. I think maybe that was all a trick. Kind of like with Thanos, Loki is going to make a deal with the villains, again, even though he knows he'll probably get in trouble later.

They also say there'll be a motherly moment between him and Frigga. (i kind of watched Clevvermovies and it says everything. X) ) so what i wonder is, is if Frigga convinced him to be good and help Thor (if that's the case), then why did he turn against him again? Is it something that Odin said or done?

Wow, you're so right! I never noticed that the cell might be a mockery to him. I never noticed that it's for everyone to watch. I just feel so bad for him. Judging from Odin's punishment for loki, it seems Odin never learned did he? I mean yeah, Loki deserves a punishment, but I doubt Odin said anything nice or fatherly to him, either.

Haha at the cave thing. The only reason it wouldn't work though, is because Thor took Loki back, so how'd Loki escape from him with the chains? Plus, Thor got Mjolnir, he can fly with it and catch Loki any time.

Yes, Judging from Loki's outfit, (not wearing any muzzle or chains), the cage itself must keep him from using magic to escape. The garment was torn all over and kinda red, but if Loki got beaten/tortured, why is HE not bloody? I guess Marvel's just too easy with kids. If it was an R rated movie, they'd show Loki all bloody and hurt.

You're so observant! You're pure genius, with all your guesses! and i thought 'I' dug deep in this movie, haha.
Do you write Fanfiction? Your writing style seems very well... written, and I'd guess that if you did write fics, they'd be really accurate to the Marvel movies.

AdmiralDeMoy In reply to verona111 [2013-04-28 08:41:34 +0000 UTC]

Let me unravel that from the bottom up.

I wrote fanfics ages back for the Data/Lore slash Star Trek fanbase, but nothing for Loki et al. I wanted to, but it's became a serious bore with all the Mary-Sue & porn crap, or let's rape & torture Loki some more for fun perversions, or turn him into a monster instead crap - or even Tom & the rest, which is a BIG no no in any fanfiction fandom, btw. Expect the Loki/Tom fans seem to ignore that. It's a code we had & no one these days seems to realise that. Or that it's utterly unethical to use real life ppl in their (far too often sick/ening) fantasies. It's degrading, dehumanising, objectifying, & I'm sick of it. In fact, it can be libellous.

Now, the fact that Loki's torn shirt is apparently stained, but not him, remember, Loki heals rapidly & even The Hulk did like no serious injuries to him bar leaving a few scratches on his face & hands, when any mortal had died on the first blow, & there are - apparently - some marks on his left hand like he punched the walls, probably after he heard of Frigga's death, the only one he loved & who loved him unconditionally back, & trusted. Or it's just a shadow. dunno. Ergo, he wouldn't show any marks, though we don't know how he looks under his clothes. Loki was blasted through a steel wall in a fireball from the Destroyer weapon by Coulson, & what happened? Nothing. He got up without a hair out of place & not even his clothes were singed. I'm sure anyone else had been incinerated in nil time before they even hit the wall.

Loki would have no trouble breaking these flimsy chains, or rip off that ugly muzzle. He has enough strength & powers to fight & sustain Thor & perhaps even The Chitauri, apart from space exposure that would kill anyone else instantly, & still live to tell the tale, superhuman strength, just like he possesses superhuman powers, & he could just as well magic it all away. That was purely to humiliate him in front of the World basically, the Avengers - & to shut him up symbolically speaking. The 'sewn up lips' part, they obviously couldn't bring into a Marvel film. The muzzle itself wasn't even real, it was CGI'd. Tom said he cannot have anything covering his mouth like that, for whatever fears, & so they literally painted it on (him) in post production.

Thor might be able to fly after ppl with his hammer, true, but Loki can magic himself away, project himself, shapeshift, trick ppl into thinking they stand in front of him when he's not. See Coulson, & Thor, who should know better by now. So, if he REALLY wanted to escape 'then', he'd had plenty of chances to do so, escape Thor & the rest, & get rid of some puny chains & muzzle. It's clear he wanted to get back to Asgard, away from The Other & Chitauri, the entire Earth invasion disaster, even if it meant to end up in an Asgardian prison. That's at least safe there. Well, until Malekith it seems, jail-breaks him, hahahaha.

Odin is a not the best of fathers, that's for sure, & the way Loki laid into him accusing him of favouring Thor all these years wasn't just some imaginary slight he felt, as Thor put it in his continued ignorance, or he'd not said that. Loki doesn't lie when it concerns his feelings, himself, only when he's the cold thinker & schemer. So he didn't just say that to attack Odin, but true hurt, true despair, true hatred,to show him how he had felt & suffered throughout the ages, & that no one gave a shit about HIS feeling, or him, really. He was after all just a 'war & peace' pawn to Odin - he indeed wanted to use later to make peace between the realms - & just a 'little brother' to Thor, & an object of fun to the rest.

It's bad enough that Laufey abandoned him like a piece of trash, just because he was not pure Frostgiant. Odin might in fact have wanted to save him at first & then thought he could be of use too - & raised him as his own, though most certainly not as an equal, while drumming it into everyone that the Jotuns are the monsters, the enemy Thor even a child wanted to slay, never realising his very own 'brother' was one of them, & then he finds out he was one of them. That is the worst betrayal anyone can ever suffer. To be made to hate your own kind & be nothing but a spoil-of-war relic indeed. It's never been made clear how Thor in fact dealt with that, after what he was taught to believe, while belittling Loki anyway as the arrogant spoilt warmongering brat he was before he literally hit Earth to wake up, without feeling any guilt. Odin lied to everyone about Loki's true heritage & Frigga kept his secret, in her naive hope it would never be exposed, & was basically the only one how truly loved & accepted him for who he was.

There's in fact a passage in the Thor script they never filmed, which they should have - like keeping all the deleted scenes dammit - where Loki reveals himself to Laufey as his 'bastard son', & Laufey only said he regretted that he hadn't killed him, like Odin hadn't either, the 'weak king', before Loki then made that bargain with him & lured him into Odin's chambers for him to 'slay him where he lies', his own father who had left him to die. So to kill him was nothing short of pure revenge for doing so on the one hand, & the other to prove to Odin that he indeed was 'a worthy son'. He meant nothing to him, so Laufey, just another 'monster', can not ever mean anything to Loki, except just another 'king' who betrayed him & to kill him meant no crime to anyone.

It is said that Frigga will have a word with Loki, true. But, what they might talk about is anyone's guess. Except, whatever she might say to him, unless it would be pure rejection, or not even hearing him, his reasons, etc., what he might have suffered at the hands of the Chitauri etc., (I hope they will so we finally will find out what the hell happened to him, bad enough they deleted so many scenes that prove he was more under their control than was evident) I doubt she will, Loki would only feel more abandonment, hatred, anger & despair if he finds out she was killed, or kidnapped first to later die. Which indeed might be the very catalyst for him TO help Thor, & not because of Thor 'asking' him. Let alone Odin. So I don't think she might try to convince Loki to be 'good', or to help Thor - she most probably is the reason Thor asks him in the first place, & for Malekith's onslaught they obviously cannot withstand any further.

The Loki/Malekith team up & Loki-Thor team up swaps & reswaps is indeed a major probability & clever plot twist that seems very likely, to keep us guessing about Loki's true intent, & for Loki to play both sides, at first to get away from Thor, or rather Odin, hence his probable recapture & messy state, & Thor THEN only asking him for help, & then to really help Thor to safeguard rather Asgard, his home, than suffer any invader's occupation, or even total destruction, since Malekith has no intentions to spare anyone. Not even Earth, hahaha.

But that's the part where is gets tricky, since we have no idea how Loki is gonna play this one without getting killed, by whichever side, or Thor, or even himself - or as a sacrifice - which is indeed a major concern for everyone. Though I for one don't think he will die, or maybe just fake his death - & vanish. He might get wounded, but he won't get killed (off). Marvel would be the biggest idiots on the planet if they were to allow that, profit & indeed fanbase-wise. I'm sure even Tom would have a word about that, Loki's biggest fan. They'd be FINISHED. The wrath of his fans would literally bring them down.

oh wow, really? Well, I knew that making fics about real celebrities was rude, but I didn't know there was an actual rule for it. I've never done anything like that, and I never will; that's just mean. And I would understand why you feel that way about Thor fics. They DO always have rape/torture/angst/selfharm/selfcest,etc. I get where you're going.

Yeah, I was quite surprised, actually, by how invincible Loki was. I mean, the hulk scene shoulda damaged him. Yeah, I get in the end, he was breathing harshly and having a hard time getting up, but still. If he was just a human, he would've died instantly.

I never thought about that... O.o ... hmmm. Loki able to escape but choosing not to? I don't know, i mean if Thor knows that he can (having been his brother and all), he wouldn't have put the chains and muzzle on. But you may be right! It could be like how he chose to get caught by Ironman and Cap.

He WANTS to go back home. I actually thought he did for a second when Thor asked him. Tom Hiddleston's acting in that scene was phenomenal. His face turned from angry, "I AM a king!!!" to this sad, surprised, almost giving up(?) kinda look. He was speechless for a couple of seconds before he realized that The Other told him to get the Tesseract no matter what. (although he already did in that scene.)He really wanted to go, because the only excuse he had for not returning is that he doesn't have what can bring them both home... It wasn't that he didn't WANT to go, or that he didn't feel like he has a home. It was that he COULDN'T do it... Thor almost changed his mind. ^_^ what do you think he felt?

I DO believe that one reason for the muzzle was to mock him, but I also think that Loki could summon spells through his mouth. Many sorcerers speak the spells. So he could say something and just escape out of Thor's reach. Maybe Thor knew that and that's why he suggested it? Of-course, I never read a single comic book about Thor and Loki, so I don't know if Loki's capable of that, but that would be my guess to why he put it on him.

You know I can't help but think Loki didn't really want to fight Thor. I mean, the forest scene that I told you about, but not just that. The scene on Stark's tower. That was very important. Why? because Loki chose to stab Thor with the LITTLE dagger, instead of the big scepter, and then he waited for Thor to get up again! Like who does that? Loki could've taken that chance to shoot Thor with the scepter while he's bent over in pain, and then maybe Thor would've fallen off the building, having enough time to call for Mjlnor, or not. But why didn't he do it? He simply didn't like fighting Thor. It hurt him to fight his long-known brother but he knew he had orders to follow. I actually believe that at this point, Thor was really convincing him to give up and that they can work together once again, that Loki stabbed him quickly to stop feeling repent. In his mind, he's like, "No,no,no,NO! I will NOT lose again!" and then he stabbed him quickly, but he felt truly sad and he was sucked in by his thoughts, (that caused him to cry), that got Thor angry.

If only Thor understood that, he could've continued talking to his brother, but ofcourse at this point, Thor had had enough. Hey, I don't blame him! That poor guy fell from the Helicarrier, got stabbed, got Coulson killed, etc. I think he gave his little bro enough chances already...

This is what I always thought! (about Loki's 'imaginary' slights.) Loki doesn't always show his feelings. In fact, he kept it in until Odin told him of his true heritage. He kept it in all these years, trying hard not to believe that Thor was more favored than him. All he lived by was the thought that he was still his son, so Odin still loved him. Of course that idea got shattered when Odin told him that he only took him for use, not for love. Anyway, so when Loki told Thor that, I'm 100% sure he isn't lying. Loki is a deceiver, a trickster. He doesn't show his emotions easily, so when he actually trusts Thor enough to finally tell him how he feels and why he acted why he acted, Thor insults him like Odin does. Ofcourse huh? Like father, Like son.

Who's to say that Odin never convinced Thor that Loki's imagining things? When Loki asked Thor if Odin told him of his heritage, Thor replied with questions. It means, he did. So it definitely means Thor must've asked his father about why Loki acted why he acted. Why he said he was never his brother? Why he was crying and most importantly, why he chose to commit suicide. poor Thor, he never actually understood what was happening in the first movie. I bet he thought Loki was just very angry at him, that he said he wasn't his brother. Not that he meant it LITERALLY. If only Loki talked to him first, maybe Thor would've understood. Maybe he would've actually stood up for him. You know... before Odin convinced Thor that Loki was just hallucinating. Do you agree that Odin must've convinced Thor that or do you believe Thor just has the mind of Odin, anyway?

Oh yeah. (deleted scene) I wish they actually filmed it. We would've at least seen it with our own two eyes. I wanted to see Loki's reaction when Laufey called him that. And I wanted to see Laufey try to choke Loki before he turned blue. That would've been awesome! Anyway, enough off-topic blabbering of me: I think that scene is just so sad. Loki learns that Odin betrayed him, so he goes to laufey (to decieve him), and then he gets some crucial words from him too. I mean why do they do this to him? What did he ever do to THEM? It's not like he chose to be a jotun. Plus, Laufey shouldn't have ever left him! His son is his own race and he should've known that if another race took him, they will hurt him too. Plus, Laufey is so cruel, he leaves a baby to die from starvation. Stab the guy for effing sake! (I mean that's evil too), but at least the baby won't suffer for a couple of hours like this!!! And who knows how long Loki was actually out there? He could've been already dying...aww this is giving me Loki feels, again.

I do hope that Frigga asks Loki what happened. I'm super curious; I just really need to know more info about that. I think there will be more information revealed in Avengers 2. Maybe Loki will 'actually' be with the Avengers (since the directors really should do that before they kill him off, since Loki DID join them once in the comics, i heard) and Thanos and his army will be on the other side and Thanos will be mocking Loki about how he lost and with that, we'd understand a little more? Maybe it'll go something like this.
Thanos: hmhmhmm.. *chuckles* It's you again, mortal. Are you not afraid of what I can do to you? You know... after what I have already DONE to you? *evil smirk*
*Awkward shock among Avengers*
so stuff like that that will reveal more clues about what happened. I don't know, but I do hope!

and yes I do agree with you. It's probably her kind words to him before her death that really got Loki angry. I mean, nobody messes with his mother. They can mess with Thor, Odin, Asgard, or anyone else, but not her! Malekith made a really bad mistake...

I KNOW!!! After I saw the trailer, I got really, really sick to my stomach thinking they might kill him off, at first! I connected the two quotes from different videos, "Loki will betray Thor, again." and "When you betray me... I will kill you." Like CRAP! But then I realized that they already killed Frigga,so they really shouldn't kill another beloved character. (and Loki is VERY beloved.) Like you said, Loki-fans are HUGE and the whole movie could fail just from people like me. XD ALso, I heard that Tom signed up for 5 movies total. So, he should reach up to Thor 3, hopefully!

Hey... Mayyybeeee, Loki will do something that will make Thor not want to kill him anymore, even though he betrayed him. Maybe he'll save Jane (for some random reason), but still betrays Thor, so Thor is a bit grateful of him. Who knows? I mean Loki's staying till Thor 3, so maybe that's what happens. I also heard, there will be alot of shapeshifting between Loki and kurse. i'm not sure if it's true, but if that's the case, that'll be confusing to whether the person in front of Thor is truly Loki, or Kurse. Maybe Loki will shapeshift into Kurse, and then the real Kurse does something evil, that when Loki returns to his original state, Thor would believe it was Loki. So he'll be misunderstood... AGAIN.

(phew that's alot of words. If it bothers you, please tell me. I don't mind it, myself. You're pretty interesting to talk to )
