Yes, we need to destroy ISIS before they kill more innocent people... (I don't know how many times I have written this already...)

You know, I once talked to somebody (A neoliberal, go figure) who said that escalation is no way to a better world, and that if we as civilized nations were to attack ISIS we would be no better than them. My answer to this: "Have you any idea how many lives could be saved by obliterating ISIS with all force available to the civilized world? How many innocents would be spared having their throats cut?" Of course, she had no answer to this. Put simply; Even if you're against military action in Syria for humanitarian issues (which I understand, civilian casualties happen in war) there is still the prospect of how many lives can be saved if such evil is stamped out immediately rather than being allowed to continue.

I don't know who can still think to this day that it's possible to defeat ISIS without using any type of military force. Yeah, I also understand the humanitarian issue argument, but... recalling World War II makes me say that it's unavoidable to lose civilian lives in a war (especially, since we're talking of a war in which we're fighting against a terrorist group with no respect for human life at all.)

It's the same concept as Europe before the Second World War - We thought we could keep evil at bay by avoiding it and staying neutral to it. Meanwhile, they had time to grow stronger, to kill with impunity, then unleash their ruthlessness on the free nations of the world. The same rings true right now, and unless we act, history will once again condemn us with those words - 'Too late.'
