Samus is close to a tired Pit, and their heads are touching. What's Samus planning? And why does this snapshot look similar to another one of mine?My favorite Pit color with the "orange" suit Samus (from an ending in Zero Mission)... close together. It looks like one of my other snapshots, but this was to fit the "colors" theme for Pit x Samus. Orange was the closest thing to the yellow/gold Pit that Samus had. Anyways, it does seem cute or even romantic, but more-so cute.

Oh um, that's easy.
To start off, there's some secret similarities that Metroid and Kid Icarus actually did have that many do not know.
-For starters, both the first games of each franchises shared the same game engine, so that's why they felt similar in a way.
-Both of those first games also came out in 1986 (8/6 for Metroid, 12/19 for Kid Icarus). It was Metroid that was obviously more popular, though.
-Both first games shared the same producer, named Gunpei Yokoi (if I spelled that right), which you can probably find by looking it up on wiki or something.
-Kid Icarus Uprising does make certain Metroid references, but the big one that is easily noticeable is the Pit/Viridi banter in chapter 19 about the Komayto itself (which actually translates to "Little Metroids" in Japan iirc), In fact, you can see these enemies throughout the game and see that they definitely look like Metroids... and actually attack like em too, just without the "skree!" sound.
There's probably more that I forgot, but that should give you an idea. As for the Pit/Samus ship itself, I always felt that compared to the other ships with Samus which has her shipped with "manly" characters, we know Samus is strong and pretty much independent, so why not an upbeat, adorable, compassionate, and innocent young angel (He's older than he looks btw) instead? Who knows? Maybe his personality can help lighten Samus's mood sometimes, to cheer her up. And that's just one of my many ideas that I hold.
I do apologize for the anger, but I have came across many ppl who have bashed me for liking the ship and such, and it just irritates me.
