oh wow... you pleasantly suprise me with your work everytime! I love the way the colours merge. It almost seems like the green is defying gravity & bleeding into the sky. I love it!

I like this, though it's kind of a small image... what are the dimensions of the original?
I had an idea, though I'm not sure how well it would work, but if you used the splats as a mask and have another image show through where the splats are, y'know? ... like a blue sky with whispy clouds or something.
Hooray!

You're welcome. 18x14 is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It's larger than A4 at least. Did you photograph it to get it on here?

I think this must be my favorite of yours. The painting itself is excellent (I wish I knew enough about traditional painting to tell you all the reasons why! I'll just settle for the way it makes me feel). What I love about it is the splatter over top. Against the gentle colors and soft feel of the background painting, the harshness and erratic feel to it make me feel unsettled in a very cool kind of way. Thanks!

I see an apple...the questions about this apple. so many, cannot deny there is an apple somewhere in this intriguing abstract painting....what is the meaning of this apple? is it intended for me to think this way....about this apple? or does it make me want to eat an apple....I shall never know.

yeah..the APPLE.
Thing is..thats why I named the piece "Absence Of Meaning"..hehe.Cause in a lot of ways,it doesnt make any sense..does it?

i love the thrown around paint, it gives the painting a strong depth, and a dreamish feeling,
it has an atmosphere i want to float around in...
it also makes it looks somewhat aged...
cheers!

Green is used very well. I am bad at making green. How have you done it?Is it ready-from the tube?I always mix paynes grey and various yellows but then all my greens appear dull.
I like the composition as well with the three layers and red to break it.So too the smudging - it gives a sort of antique look to it all.
Not to criticise, but only that leaf-like shape at the top of the red crcle looks a bit incongruous, in the sense it is too weel-formed. Just my thought.
