It's gorgeous. I bought some gouache paints for Christmas and played with them this evening but it's going to take some serious practise. You're brilliant with colour and a real inspiration.

i think once you start using gouache you will grow to absolutely love it.i know i did.actually,gouache is what i only use now.i get the soft transparent colours like with watercolours,if i need to..and the strong colours like with acrylics.but overall..gouache is much easier to use.
and gouache and pencils,theyre match made in heaven.
like each other like bread and butter

That's really encouraging. I used to love to draw with pencils and watercolours or pencils and coloured inks but haven't tried them with the gouache. I have only tried a colour fill as a first attempt but when I actually slap a bit more paint on I'll have a play. I found it odd dealing with the thickness of the paint v the wash when I did the first one. I can see how it could look beautiful if it wasn't done by me lol.
