what is this type of drawing called again? (i need it for my art prodject bc i cant remember the name of the styleΒ  Β )this is so good though! what do you use to get the pictures like this or is it just a simple camera picture and cropping?

It's an "old"(2009) freehand graphite pencil drawing.Β 

I really think I have improved since then... But I thank you for thinking it look realistic


I would say my style is "realistic" but not "photorealistic", I want it to look like a drawing... But again: this is from when I first started to draw...Β

wow this is beautiful! How did you get it to look so smooth? Whenever i use pencil theres always dark smudges that wont go away

Where do you get smudges? I always protect the paper from my hand with another paper, and I use blending tools for blending...

The smudges are always where iv blended with my finger, like just random dark patches, so i guess the difference is the blending tools, i think i will have to invest in some

yes! If you use your fingers the paper will get oily and dirty. Just use kleenex or something, it will work better
