One day when Caloris was still a small pup she snuck away from her chores to explore the forest and ended up getting lost for 3 days. On the last day she was attacked by a hungry beast hoping to snatch an easy meal. Luckily Nadir, who was only an adolescent at the time, was on one of his first journeys and was close enough to hear the commotion and rushed to her aid, helping her to escape the beast. She had wandered far from her home but Nadir looked after her and returned her home safely to her parents.
