Wow. Darn, that's good. I personally don't like the lightsource in the picture (from the front, like with a flashlight) but your skills are only one thing: Impressive to no end! The shine on the grapes, the gleam on the grenadine... Wow. I could babble about that stuff non stop now. Oo
For taking pictures: We had a device at our school so we would be able to take pictures of our drawings. The most important part is that the lightsource is in front of it and not a strong/sharp one. Never use flashlights but daylight's not that good either. The best results you get by using a daylight-lamp for the light in a room that's not too dark. At least, that's what I tend to do. Hope that helps a bit. ^^

Oh, I know that all too well. Yes, a tripod will help there. ^^ Oh, if you're using a tripod don't trigger the camera by just pressing the button. If you touch the camera it will shake again. Use either a remote control or (easier and cheaper) the timed photo. You know, the one you can place your camera on a log, run away and hope you'll be in the pic when the camera takes the picture itself. *ggg*

part of the reflection could be caused by any liquin/galkid you used, or by the properties of some of the colors of paint you used. if you go buy some workable fixative(sometimes reffered to as varnish), probably matte, it would help. also, to best photograph artwork you need two lights at approximately 25-45 degrees from the flat surface the painting/other artwork is hanging from. if you position the lights right, the camera shouldn't pick up a reflection.
if you choose to use fixative/varnish, make sure it's the workable kind, otherwise you need to wait 6 months or a year before applying it to oil paint, to make sure it is all completely dry.
I hope this helps.

you're welcome.
I only know because I had a photography teacher who beat it into my skull with repeated tests and practical trials at it and stuff.. and a painting teacher who suggested fixative to me because I have one painting where the black oilpaint is super glossy, but the rest isn't, so teh darkest parts tend to look super light, which is annoying...
