Yeah, it could seem from the Title that old burnt woods have Only a Feeling of Lost and Lacking, but a burnt wood produced Fire, and those signs recall the Memory of the Warmth ofthe Fire... Here I See Burnt Sienna, a Very Warm Color...

When I edited the photo I wanted to give it drama by saturating the reds, the rust, and darkening the shadows, that why the wooden beams really look burned, although they were not burned, they were only very old.
But you're right, the result has very warm tones

A wonderful photograph that has been added to by a powerful edit. The textures and colours are alive though the underlying feeling is of the passing of time....maybe even death.

When I edited the photo I wanted the result to be dramatic, that the red was a blood red... because for me this work, as you say, has a lot to do with death. A useless but deadly and bloody sacrifice.
