The Boutique Diabolique was just what I expected. Small town salon in a strip mall with a whole lot of nothing around it. The whole place seemed like it was holding its breath, waiting for me to make a move.

Or maybe it was just a beauty salon. I get carried away sometimes.

The drag queen running the place was a surprise. In a little tiny town like this, I figured people would be a little more conventional. She didn't even bother introducing herself, just puffed away on her cigarette. A hand rolled black cigarette. Bingo.

I made small talk and handed over the Sicilian's completed punch card. The queen looked a little surprised, then amused. Sure thing, Hon, she said. Why don't you just take a seat and I'll be right with you for the complete package...
