I still feel like I don't get to do enough personal artwork lately since work and commissions suck up my time and creativity - of course that is great, but I miss drawing simply for the sake of drawing sometimes.

I practiced with my awsome new Dervent Inktense pencils lately and came up with a Butterly Pooka design with wings in her hair. So Today I found I had some time on my hands and fleshed the idea out in Photoshop instead. (My own character is a much less inventive cat girl but I like the visual appeal of the idea..)

The Tribal Butterfly on her skin is clipart I found as a free download .. if it isn't free - please tell me and I'll either give credit or remove it. But it just matched the character perfectly.
