This is, as the title states, about the Irish anti-blasphemy law which is ludicrous, my comic tries to illustrate what sort of nonsensical complaints and lawsuits this might - and maybe should - cause. At least then it might become apparent to the public that it's better to abolish it again as soon as possible.

Yes, the law came into effect at the beginning of 2010. You can now be fined for blasphemy over there. A shame really that a "civilized" nation makes such a law these days.

Well, the "we" doesn't reach very far when the majority of society holds different values than oneself. So in the wake of "political correctness" and "tolerance" something like this law was more or less bound to happen somewhere.

I was about to say that this more obscure one was nice as well but seeing that it has 44k pageviews which is more than some many real people have it is hardly appropriate to call it that. It apparently gained quite some popularity since its creation that I witnessed first-hand.
