One thing that is really intriguing about the twins is that while at first glance they seem to be two of the host's most outlandish members, upon closer inspection they actually might be two of the club's most reserved members. Kaoru and Hikaru both put up a wall a long time ago between themselves and everyone else; confiding only in each other. However as is evident with Haruhi they seem to be looking for someone with whom to keep their secrets.
