OMG. I was glancing through your gallery after seeing the Conrad cosplay and spotted this photo. My first reaction: OMG NO FUCKING WAY... THAT CAN'T BE WHO I THINK IT IS! lol
I know Alex! He is a friend of mine from Governors School! Last time I saw Alex was at Animazement last year, but I think he was doing an Ouran cosplay then. Maybe. Man, what a coincidence. Small world. How do you know him? Do you live in NC too?

But yeah, I met Alex through a friend-in-common (~AkaiKitsune-Desu , the Ash cosplayer from our group), back when he was still in high school.

OH GOD I ACTUALLY CAUGHT THAT EPISODE. Random-ass Shoujo-manga Brock DB> FOR YEARS we first-gen kids have been deprived of Brock's precious eyeballs--only to finally see them so casually!? Granny Nazo's poor ol heart can't take it.

As for Brock's peepers, I feel you so much. I was catching up on some key episodes and caught that moment like "oh snap! They did not just show Brock's eyes!", but then I realized that it is not a phenomenon anymore which made me feel so old. .___.
But it was still too tempting to recreate the scene for kicks and giggles. I must say Alex does such an amazing Brock; his expressions are so... priceless.

Haha, I stopped watching Pokemon after the first few episodes of Hoenn, because Johto was amazing and Hoenn was... not.

Alright, so I didn't consistently watch pokemon up until then--but I remember watching religiously up until the Orange Islands.
Y'see, dear drawer, Brock was one of my first loves, and as a loyal fangirl I just can't not make a big deal about it.
It would be like if Hisoka were toned down to the point of being a travel partner with Gon and his musculature severely reduced or his outfit oversimplif--OH WAIT.
