Description
My first commissioned (unofficial) fantasy map: the small nordic town Eskilsheim settled in Aventuria, the world of The Dark Eye. I really enjoyed working on this piece and realizing the original draft of this place.
As for my former map of Hirschfurt, my main inspirational sources were the townscapes of the 17th century copper plate engraver Matthäus Merian that I really admire. Alredy looking forward to draw more maps in this style.
