As age creeps upon us, changes happen that were otherwise unthinkable during our youth. Gray hair, less energy... time is running out. And yet we are able to find a way to pass on something, to give back to the world around us. In the unique case of dandelions, those old pesky weeds show off their fluffy white seeds before they pass in order to allow for another generation of flowers to grow and follow the same cycle.
The focus on the subject of this photograph is fantastic. It truly invites the viewer to go ahead and "make a wish" and blow out the seeds! Likewise the out-of focus background really balances out the composition. A pleasure to view. An even greater pleasure to critique. You should be proud of this photograph. It is very well executed!
