Description I wanted to capture an epic and exotic spaceport piece but maintain a certain romantisised composition adding a boardwalk with passengers and space jockeys going about their business. In the distance passengers are boarding the ship.

After toying with the idea of giving the ship a female name I eventually came up with the name Callista, a play with words similar to Callisto.
I decided to create various emblems (Star graphic top left on ship) and graphics including a Gil Elvgren inspired type pin up girl, painted seperately and imposed on the side of the ship hence the ships name Callista. The same star can be seen (zoomed in) on the left shoulder of the female space jockey to the right. The intention was to give the space liner a brand.

Wow is right, you're linework and painting details have become more precise and disciplined compared to your earlier work. Really get a nice sense of perspective from the looming floating ship, the pilots/travellers are very nicely done! I like this graphic branding of the ship/crew...gives a extra touch to it being a spaceliner enterprise of sorts.

I kinda wanted to push the boat out further and work the detail. The brand was fun to do and have a big interest in logos of which I have done a few for local businesses.
