Maroon 5, Love Somebody
For #EquestriaDigital and #MLP-FIM-wallpapers ' WOTW (Wallpaper of the Week) competition; the theme for the week of September 15, 2013 is monochrome.

Taking inspiration from Maroon 5's visually innovative Rich Lee-directed music video for "Love Somebody" (see link above), I wanted to create a somewhat surreal yet minimalistic landscape for Spike (apparently, I haven't used him on any of my artwork since one of my last pieces to be made in GIMPshop, a pony album cover of "4 Minutes" by Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake , so it's only right for him to be featured once again) based on that video. The whole wallpaper was created with only brushes and few text superimposed on it.
