i love places like this, i used to cycle through the red light district of manchester with my friend as fast as we could like a mancunian version of adrenaline sports.

Of all the of Manc pics I found on here this one appealed to me the most. The chair on the wall is fantastic, reminded me of a recent walk in the woods in Chorlton where a hobo haven had been made, a set of ladders against a tree, a deck chair close by, a tyre in a tree and a for sale sign stuck in the gound. All things like this say home to me, I wouldn't have it any other way

im sure this is in the city centre near the universities. although i dont remember it being this filthy. lots of great graffiti there.

Who showed you the place? I don't think its the real manchester.. It is the only place of its kind in manchester, there is literally nowhere else that bad anywhere.
The real manchester is full of white boys and hairdressers with Minis..

Cassie. I don't mean by it being the real manchester that that's is where everywhere else is like, just away from the REgen there is a place of Manchester generally forgotten, but representing a lot better what Manchester used to be. Old brickwork, arches etc. Not Urbis and skateboarders.
