"Have you thought about the consequences of what was started by you? Who am I? Do you think I'm evil? You hardly know how much love and affection is in me, and hardly believe how much hate is in me. And if I can not meet one sense, I am completely give myself for other!"

Mewtwo looks awesome in that coat. The quote fits him really well. Very nice job on the face, there's intelligence in his eyes but it's still completely human.

Thank you very much! This association with Frankenstein helped me to understand Mewtwo's tragedy deeper.

The quote fits Mewtwo very well.

Thanks!

I also think that Dr. Fuji has much in common with Dr. Frankenstein - they both are researchers, who had lost loved ones (Frankenstein his mother, Fuji his daughter) and so tried to overcome death with the help of science. And their attempts to do so have ended the same way.

You are right! That's an interesting… and I've never noticed it, although I listened to the audio book of "Frankenstein" once - it was very scary O_O

Thanks!)

I loved the movie 1994, because it perfectly showed the mental anguish of Frankenstein and his creature (I do not even know who empathized more), and De Niro played a very impressive.

Loved that movie to. and it defently got me how much the creature's thoughts,  way of talk and express himself is a lot  like Mewtwo as well. a defentive inspiration for this  pokemon character.

Likewise! People who loves Mewtwo usally don't even know about the story of frankenstein's monster. Then this highly intelligent monster is often portrayed as a stupid zombie in most cartoons and stuff when he is defently the opposite to that. So most people probably have the wrong idea of "frank" Really sad..

Well then the part of the movie where he mentionts to dr:frankenstein he wants an companion and then he imagine how him and his bride will hide away from humanity and live in peace pretty much reminded me of the idea of Mewtwo returns. So it simply  can't be they weren't inspired.

I never saw I,frankenstein. I only saw the one whit Robert de niro. I bought this movie togheter whit Bram stokers Dracula (1992) and phantom of the opera (2004) Kinda prefer the book to the movie whit phantom of the opera though but the music is good.

I'm very glad you share my opinion! When I've read book I got a lot of impressions. And folm with De Niro is the most close to book, and actors acted great, so I love it. Yes, it's so sad that most of people don't know the original story of Frankenstein and his creature. Mary Shelley was genius!
