Liam has always shown a passion for literature and history. He especially focuses on wrapping his mind around the situations behind the different shifts on any kind of events. This desire to understand how things work has led him to become a really attentive and smart person. Not to mention the vast knowledge he possesses on those subjects.
After reading tons and tons of different books with different styles and authors, Liam has learned that language is a powerful tool if you know how to work it in your favor. He puts great care on every word he says, making sure it expresses only what he wants it to express.
On his books, Liam demonstrates fixation on how his variety of characters develop. Every character he has created has a deep personality, a goal, and it’s affected by the changes on the narrative environment. However, he doesn’t only understand how changes affect his characters, he is pretty good at guessing how certain changes would affect certain people.
Liam grew up hearing only one thing: "You are far more special and important than most people. Don't let anyone take you down." As the first successor of the Laurent family after the Tragedy, Liam knew he was in charge to restore the family name to its former glory. The kind of treatment he has get through his entire life has made him overly-confident in what refers to himself. Some people may call him egocentric or arrogant, Liam just knows he is superior.
The Laurent family had always had everything they wanted. However, that changed after the Tragedy. Liam's parents educated him to get what he wanted. After all, the end justifies the means. If Liam wants something he will go and try to get it, unless it gets dangerous. However, if you ever take something that belongs to him or you stand between him and his goal... Well, let's just say he might have to take measures.
Likes:
- Music. Any music. Music is inspirational.
- People. He might seem asocial, but he actually enjoys meeting people. People are excellent characters... although, some times they are too predictable.
- Surprises. As long as they are good. The element of surprise should always be important to a writer.
Dislikes:
- Stupidity. Honestly, think before you talk. It's not that hard.
- Boredom. The world could learn a couple of things from novels. Novels are exciting, the world is a dull place.
- Badly written stories. Any kind of story-teller is in the entertainment business. A writer should always entertain people with a good story. Under no circumstance can a writer feed garbage to his readers.
Hobbies: Video games
Especially graphic novels or puzzle games. Sure, he enjoys any kind of game, but there’s something wonderful in the feeling you get after solving a puzzle. He started playing video games when he was a child. He quickly discovered it was a wonderful way to tell a story. In fact, he has written some video games of his own.

Biography:
Liam was born into one of the most powerful and richest families in the world, of course, after the Tragedy, the family's worth got significantly reduced. Liam's parents, had the wish to restore the family's name, so they made sure to give Liam the best education they could.
In order to accomplish their goal, Liam's parents surrounded him with books. They wanted to make sure the kid was as clever as possible. Intelligence is the key to unlock the road to power.
Over time, Liam started to show his preferences. Shifting towards history and literature more often than science. Liam quickly became an avid reader, finishing entire books overnight. Soon after his passion for literature and history awoke, he started creating his own characters and stories. He loved writing characters. He loved thinking backstories and wondering how certain actions would affect a person. He spent days writing, creating intricate stories in which his characters faced problems and horrors. His stories had a sarcastic point. He liked to create extremely mean and morally dubious characters that got systematically tortured throughout the adventure until they righted their wrongs… and then died a horrible death.
However, his parents didn’t share his love for literature. For them, literature was only a way to get fame and money. Nonetheless, fame and money weren’t important. Where was the power? Were books going to help to overthrow governments? Were they going to be useful to balance power? To rewrite history? Fame and money wielded nothing. A wrong move and the family would be back to square one. Liam didn’t care. He just wanted to write, read and travel.
He published his first novel when he was 11. It was a murder mystery. In fact, he wrote it after he swung by the police station, waved his name around and got involved within an investigation. After that, he wrote a novel about a serial killer. The story had too many similarities with the case he just had helped to solve, and it became an instant hit. Soon enough, the novel became a bestseller. So did every novel that came after it. He used the money he had earned to get away from his family and travel around the world, increasing his knowledge and culture. He wrote more novels. He wrote romantic novels, sci-fi, medieval… He wrote everything. He didn’t only write novels, he was involved in some movie and video game scripts. He just… wrote.
One fateful day, two men in a black suit showed up at his door. They claimed to be from Future’s Road Academy. They ordered Liam to prepare for the trip. He was going to the academy. Heh, before leaving he phoned his parents to tell them he had got into the academy thanks to his novels. He was going to live the life he wanted. He could do anything he wanted. The road towards the future was right in front of him. He just had to write through it.
