Edit: My gods, this is rambling.... I was so tired last night, and didn't even realize it. I'm not really gonna change it, cause it does explain everything I was thinking about the pic.Gods, this is the smallest picture I've done in a while *can never seem to draw as well in small areas*, but I like the way it turned out.
This is Joseph [link] and Adyn on their very first official date, or rather, what I think it'll start out like, because we haven't RPed it yet. But we will soon, I'm sure.
They pretty much just got together, so they're still in the 'cute' stage. One of my favorites in a relationship, actually. So expect more cavity-inducing pics in the future.
I love the noticable height difference~ Joseph is 6'. Adyn is 5'5" at the top of his head and 5'9" at the tips of his ears. I got the proportions really close~
There are only 2 things I don't like about this pic, and they both deal with Joseph. One, I don't think he looks old enough (is supposed to be 20). And two, I left out his sunglasses. I'm sorry, Caitlin~ It's just, I can't draw profiles and I couldn't figure out how to add the sunglasses without them looking weird~
By the way, have I ever mentioned how much I love red hair? No? Cause I really do~ It's soo much fun to color, very vibrant and just lovely.
Adyn... is such a dork. He really should have Oblivious as his ability, or something. He doesn't notice when people are talking down to him *coughRemycough* or that a pokemon has Intimidate as their ability.
And speaking of abilities, Adyn's going to angst for a while once he realizes what having Cute Charm entails, exactly. 'Does he like me because he likes me, or because my ability forces him to like me?' Yeah, once that sinks in, it's gonna be interesting for a while.
TL;DR - Adyn has a boyfriend now.

I don't mind hearing something's adorable, even if it's been said a 100 times already, because I know that people like it and I managed to produce a pic the way I meant for it to be interpreted. ^_^ That, and it just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Adyn: The Lopunny paced back and forth, wearing the thick carpet in his room down. He brought his phone up, began dialing the number Joseph gave him for the third time. Half-way through, he panicked and hung up before he finished it. Groaning, he collapsed on his bed.
'Why is this so difficult?! We already planned on going out to Port Town...' He tugged on a lock of his hair, frustrated. 'So why can't I call him?'
After a few minutes, he picked up his phone again, determined. Dialing the number again, he listened, holding his breath, until he heard the familiar voice over the phone. "Joseph? It's Adyn." He gave a nervous chuckle.

Joseph: The Krookodile stepped out of his bathroom and stretched, smiling. He sang a cheery tune as he walked back to his room, stopping at the sound of his phone ringing. He took a few moments to search through his messy room for it and said, "Krookodile of the house speaking."
At the sound of the young man's voice and his nervous chuckle, his own heart skipped a beat. He smirked and chuckled slightly before laying down on the bed, resting his head on the arm folded behind it. "Well, hello Adyn. To what do I owe the pleasure of having you call me?"

Adyn: "Well, I was wondering...if...if you wanted to go to Port Town?" He spoke shyly, still unsure of himself. Face to face, he had no problem with talking to the man, but over the phone, it was different and somehow nerve-wracking.

Joseph: He smiled and pretended to think about it. "Hmmm..." A few more moments of silence as he kept the boy in suspense. "Well..." He sounded as if he was going to apologetically reject him. He decided he'd teased the boy enough and finished. "...There's nothing I'd rather do." He chuckled and got up, looking for his clothes and bathing suit. "I suppose we'll be having our race then? Meet me at the beach in an hour, if that's okay with you."

Adyn: After several moments of heart-pounding suspense, he almost burst out in joyful laughter when Joseph responded 'yes'. "That sounds wonderful! I'll meet you then, at the plaza." He stated. After a moment of debating with himself he added, quietly "I can't wait to see you." Completely embarrassed, he quickly hung up the phone, burying his head in his mountain of pillows.
After many minutes of this, he sprung up, rushing to his dressing room. "Oh, Arceus... what am I going to wear?" He rushed around the room, pulling and rejecting clothes almost the instant he grabbed them. After 10 minutes, his room was in a complete disarray but he'd managed to find something that looked half-way decent.
He wore a blue and white striped tank with only one shoulder, his dark midnight blue swim trunks, and he put his hair in a low ponytail to keep it out of the way. Looking at himself in the mirror, he decided that the clothes were nice and appropriate for the day's events.

Joseph: His smile widened and and his heart skipped another beat when Adyn said he couldn't wait to see him. He was about to say that he couldn't wait either, but the boy hung up too fast, making him laugh lightly as he stood there with the phone to his ear.
Once he hung the phone up, he began searching for something to wear. While he wasn't as picky about what he wanted to wear, he still wanted to look nice for Adyn. It took him a while to find them in such a mess, but he ended up choosing his dark teal trunks with black stripes down the sides. He put on a black tank top to cover his chest and dug out his best shades.
He smirked and grabbed a duffle bag with his towel and dry clothes, just in case. He then exited the house, locking it, and threw the duffle bag into the back a lime green pick-up truck. He wondered what Adyn would say if he saw it and laughed slightly. It was such an eyesore. He hated that, but it was one of the few things that still remained of his parents and he knew his siblings, especially Natasha, would be broken if he tried to get rid of it. And, despite it being a terrible shade of green, he had grown attached to it.
He got in and started the car before turning on the rock station and driving off to the plaza, hoping Adyn wouldn't be waiting too long for him.

Adyn: Packing extra clothes, a towel, some lotion and aloe, a brush, and just about everything else he could think of, it took another 10 minutes to gather and fill his bag.
After making sure that he had everything that he needed in the bag, he ran out of the house. He was hoping to make it to the plaza before Joseph got there. Taking his bag and throwing it over his shoulder, he stretched his legs, before sprinting off towards Port Town.
He felt powerful, running through the city like this, at a speed where no one could catch him. He dodged people who were in the way, and those that he didn't have room to dodge, he jumped over. He managed to reach the plaza with 15 minutes to spare.

Joseph: He pulled up to the plaza and smiled, seeing Adyn there already. He honked his horn a few times to alert Adyn that he was there. He climbed out of the truck and and closed the door before walking over to Adyn. He held his arms out for a hug as he walked closer. "Miss me?" He smirked and looked at Adyn over the top of his sunglasses.

Adyn: He laughed as Joseph stepped out of the lime-green truck, he couldn't help it. But when the Krookodile opened his arms, he bounded over to him, happily being wrapped up in Joseph's arms. Stretching up to kiss him on the lips, he answered.
"Without a doubt."

Joseph: He smiled into the kiss, hugging Adyn closely. Afterward, he lifted Adyn up, swinging him in a circle and chuckling. "Good. Because I missed you too." He gestured to the truck. "Sorry for the eyesore. It's my only mode of transportation besides walking." He gently took placed his hand on Adyn's back, leading him back to the truck so he could put Adyn's bag in for safekeeping while they were at the beach. "but at least it's reliable." He looked the boy over and smiled, wrapping an arm around his waist and bending down to kiss his cheek. "You look very nice today."

Adyn: Laughing happily as Joseph swung him around, Adyn clung tighter to the mans' neck. When Joseph told him that he'd missed him, Adyn blushed, pleased. "Don't worry about it. I think it's a nice color. And you're right, it is better than walking." He allowed himself to be led, enjoying the closeness of the Krookodile, and when the other kissed him he blushed and smiled up at the other.
"Thank you." He said, shyly. "And, you're handsome." He grabbed Joseph's other wrist, pulling him along towards the beach. "Shall we have our race, now?" He gave the Krookodile a devilish smirk.

Joseph: He smirked as the boy grabbed hold of his wrist and chuckled. "Well, I suppose I am. If you're ready to lose, that is." While he was eager to taunt the boy, he was also quite sure he'd lose. He wasn't fast to begin with and Adyn was a lopunny after all. But he supposed it would be okay, losing to the boy. "Should we make it interesting and have a little wager? Loser has to do whatever the winner asks of them?" He gave the boy his own devilish grin, looking at him from over his shades.

Adyn: He shivered at the look in the older man's eyes. That look meant something but what, he was unsure. Still, a burst of anticipation grew inside of him, and he found himself agreeing to the wager. "All right, sounds like fun." He continued leading the way out to the beach until there were standing in front of the lighthouse.
"All right, how about from here to the docks, in the water. First one there wins?" He tried to set up the track for the water race.

Joseph: The Krookodile notice him shiver and knew how his look was taken. It was times like that when he hated his ability. Luckily, Adyn hadn't seemed too afraid and still agreed to the wager. He allowed the boy to pull him to the lighthouse and listened to the track, nodding. "Sounds good." He took off his sunglasses and pushed them down into his trunks pocket, hoping they'd stay there. He then got into a racing position, facing the water. He looked at Adyn and grinned. "Ready?"

Adyn: "Ready." He kicked off his sandals, not particularly worried about finding them again. That done, he got into his track-runner starting position. The familiar stretch relaxed him, and when he looked over at Joseph, he grinned.
"Go~" With that, he sprinted off, using a quick burst of speed to move ahead. If there was anywhere Joseph would have the chance to catch him, it'd be in the water, where his ears would create drag for him. Not too badly, but enough. Best to get ahead now.

Joseph: He smirked and started to go when Adyn said, but he was surprised at Adyn's burst of speed. So surprised, he forgot to go. He quickly realized he was supposed to be racing the boy and started off. He hadn't stood there for long, but Adyn was quite fast. He'd just have to try his hardest to catch up.

Adyn: Adyn's ears didn't miss the fact that Joseph had stuttered at the starting line, and again he pressed his advantage, keeping his ground-eating lope up until he'd reach the surf line. Instead of plowing through the surf, which would have exhausted him, he took a running leap into it, clearing 6 feet of the shallows, straight into swimming-depth.
He was where he struggled. He felt the drag on his ears, but he kicked with single-minded determination, heading towards the docks. He didn't know why he wanted to win so badly, because he had no idea what he would have Joseph do, but there was competitive fire inside him, just like at his track meets. He would win.
