Description
This is a sketch I did a while ago, When I scanned it and inked it in Photoshop I hit a road block when I realized I had no idea how it was I wanted to color this image. And there is sat, for five long months until just today I learned a new trick with my markers and put it to use. This image turned out fantastic.The sketch this started out as was a tribute to MS Girls, which is fantastic if you can find a copy of that book, I want it so bad, but any who, It doesn't look anything like a MS girl or a Fraulein, but I adore the image regardless.

No, its my own design inspired Akitaka Mika, who designed MS Girls and Galaxy Fraulein Yuna.

This was done with markers actually. I inked it in Photoshop, I just used the pen tool for that. but aside from the line art the rest was hand done.

Practice dude, and DevArt has a whole section devoted to tut's and resources to help you out. look into it.

im getting a wacom in two weeks so i have to practice with that.

It's hard to get used to the tablet. Just keep at it, programs like SAI and Gimp work really well with tablets.

Your right, the pink does wash her out a little, wonder if you added med and deep purples to it if it would make her pop...

It's a really good picture, I like how you did the design of the armor and how the coloring gives it life with how bright and attractive it is even when looking at the thumbnail. Great job on everything from the style to the coloring and I hope you continue to draw more awesome pictures in the future.
