I do enjoy AUs where Pokemon have societies like humans. It's pretty fun. In this one, Pikachu and Glaceon met when they were both kids, after a traumatic event brought them together. They had crushes on each other, but then didn't see each other again after they got out of school. Now, Pikachu is a top level law enforcement officer and has been assigned to train a new recruit, a strong and dominant Glaceon. Pikachu immediately recognizes her as the sweet and shy Eevee he met a long time ago, but she doesn't remember him. And what's worse is, she's vastly different from who she was when they were kids. Both of them still have lingering feelings, but romance between officers isn't allowed. In addition a rising threat is coming for their hometown that they must stop. Everything seems to be working against them ending up together. Can they still find love and a life together?Related content

(So they liked each other from the very beginning. Love at first sight for both of them. But neither of them ever said anything or made a move. They became best friends over time until the day one year or whenever, they had to go their separate ways, and hadn't seen each other for at least a decade. With me/work so far?)
