Yes, this is a battle that occurred from the original Mega Man Battle Network, the reason for that is because my headcanon follows the games' continuity, hence Lan has MegaMan right from the start and both Yai and Glyde are part of Lan's class from the start. Don't worry, there will be some elements used from the anime as well, such as how MegaMan ultimately beats FireMan for example. Of course, despite his defeat at the hands of both Lan and MegaMan, Mr. Match manages to accomplish his assigned mission of obtaining the fire program in Lan's oven and delivers it to Lord Wily in the end.
