Another foray into the Orkish.

I picked this model up cheap on eBay as a gift to my boss, of all people. He's a sound dude and we got on anyway, but when I showed him some of my painting work a year or two ago it got him excited. He used to paint back in the 80s and 90s, and it got him looking to dig out his models. Then to looking at painting tutorials. Then to buying paints. And now he's a fully fledged hobbyist, complete with pile of shame and not enough time to get through it!
I grabbed this particular mini because his favourite things are Squigs - Has a little herd that he painted up, wants Manglers etc etc. I've liked this sculpt since the Kommandos Kill Team box was shown, so it seemed right to get a hold of one and paint it up as a nod of appreciation for him being cool and coming back to the hobby.

Not much to say on it, bar I did a little try harding. I don't dot many eyes, but I feel like I nailed them on this lad. And completely fluked it, too. I had regrets sticking it all together as one piece before painting, some of the details proved really hard to get to, but overall he's a lovely little thing and I'm slightly sad I packed him off to his new home already (Though his new owner'll love him all the more, I'm sure).

The Orks and the Bomb Squig kit are from Games Workshop, I merely painted and assembled the figure
