Edit: Oops, guess I should put that this is how he looks in ch.460 of the manga, I did not design his hair. So there are sort of some spoilers.
Sorry. I'm used coming in late to the fan 'parties'.Yay! I'm learning how to doodle for no reason.
I like his new haircut.
Rukia's throws me off though. I thought she was Hanataro when she first showed up.
Don't ask what he's doing, I don't know. Nor do I know what color that new/old scarf is.

Yeah. I'd say it's due to what his power is. <3 And I find it interesting that he was one of the ones there to help...I understand everyone but him and Byakuya but I'm not complaining and my inner fangirl squealed at seeing him.

Same here. Even back when I didn't like Bleach I still liked Toshiro. I was the short+white hair+ice dragon that did it for me.

It's in ch.460 of the manga. First time he's shown up in a while, so there aren't any colored versions yet.

It was both. It's the scene where Matsumoto, Hinamori, Aizen and him are on the roof watching fire works for his birthday. They animated it in one of the filler episodes and I remember his scarf being red.
But I can't seem to find it again, and I could be wrong about the color, it's been awhile. =.=
