He wasn't aware of the time passing as he watched out the window, barely able to convince himself that maybe this was just someplace in Mourim that he'd just not seen yet. As long as there were no strange machines passing, or the electric hum of trains passing by for him to hear. This world was so different from anything he'd seen, and he couldn't say he liked it. He may have if circumstances were different, but he hadn't chosen to come here. Just like Telia. He'd never chosen to go there either, but he wasn't able to leave there either. It was the same for this place too, being trapped and unable to go home. But this time it was because he didn't have a home to go back to. As far as he knew, as far as anyone knew it was completely gone. He shouldn't even have been there, having disappeared along with his world so long ago for these people. In seconds he'd become an extinct race, and within six hours and seven hundred years after those seconds he'd become an endangered race. Race and culture. He'd really tired to get used to this world too. An open book held limply in his hands on his lap as proof to that, but there was just too much. How could anyone expect him to absorb all of this? With Telia he'd had the motivation that he could return to his world after he'd done what they wanted him to. With this world, he had nothing. His blood family was here, but his whole family wasn't. His entire city was just gone now. Trapped in that sunless, cold realm that scared even the shadow users.
Trance would have started crying once more at the thoughts his mind kept playing back to, but it'd happened so often recently that he apparently didn't have any left. The room was full of residual sobbing, but otherwise stiflingly quiet as no one knew what to do or say. Even as those who were in charge of taking care of them came and went there were very few words exchanged. Trance may have been unpleasantly surprised at how much he'd been ignoring everyone but he couldn't seem to register things anymore. Like he was seeing the world while trapped in a box of frosted glass. He could sometimes feel his family hugging him, and he knew he hugged them back, but the cold black emptiness never seemed to heal at all.
What were they supposed to do know when the world and almost all the people they lived for were gone?

"Trance just keeps sitting and staring out the window quietly and doesn't sleep or eat much of anything. I can't really even get him to talk and it's really making me worried. Heaven help anyone who even thinks about touching his crown though, but I can't really blame him considering what's happened. Apparently all five of them are from a world completely Outside of Time so his possessions are kind of precious stuff now." -Seint

Ehhh I drew this a while ago but didn't wanna post it 'cause it'd depressing. |D But I figured I should get it up before I really don't like it anymore.
This is what Trance is like the first few days on Novus'Olum, and his family is about the same.
