Abilities:
Guardian Training: Like all Guardians he was trained in various dual handed weapons and polearms as well as hand to hand combat. Included in his training was to be able to use a wide variety of minor magic focusing on assistance and defensive types in order to adequately be able to protect his charge. While some of the magic might look impressive it’s all pretty basic, although some of it is very old. Most of this magic would fail miserably if matched head to head against someone who studies magic.
Gravity: One of his favorite magics to use, Mikhail chose to develop his gravity skills further than other Guardians. The only thing this skill is able to do is to either increase the gravitational pull(weight) on something within a 100ft (30.5m) radius to double that of it’s original, or to decrease it enough that it floats.
Shield/Barrier: Since his gravitational magic only allows him to move things up and down and for its defensive nature Mikhail developed shield magic. The barriers he makes are about as strong as bulletproof glass and depending on how thick he makes it the largest shield he can make is a 50ft(15.3m) circle with a .5in(1.3cm) thickness. Enough to stop a tree being thrown at him but not an avalanche. He also creates smaller, thin shields to use more like blades to cut through things, but these are easily blocked by leather armor.

Charge Inherited:
Minor Telepathy: Mikhail inherit very minor telepathic abilities from his charge Eliza because their bond. He’s really rather pathetic with them despite having them for a long time, the extent of his ability is to simply be able to link himself to someone else mentally, letting them see his mind or allowing him to see theirs. He cannot force them to show him anything they really don’t want to and most of the time he doesn’t even use this ability at all. The only perk he sees from it is having a permanent mental link to Eliza and acting as a ‘stepping stone’ for her so she can deal with all the mental stuff.

Personality:
Mikhail is the big brother of the Guardians and acts quite a bit like one. The three Seraphim take turns who stays in the village to watch over everyone and Emiris grew up when it was Mikhail’s turn. So these two and Miuriel actually got along really well and behave much like a trio of brothers with Mikhail the oldest, Miuriel in the middle and Emiris the youngest. Mikhail often doesn’t talk much around those he isn’t close to and can come across as an imposing leader. He’s usually the one who makes most of the decisions concerning the village and the other two Earthran Seraphim often are content to simply act as monitors to his behavior. Outside of his position as Seraphim and when interacting with his ‘favorite siblings’, Mikhail is more teasing and playful, showing his actual personality of guiding big brother instead of village leader.

History:
As the previous 3rd Seraphim of Caelius Mikhail is one of the oldest Guardians still alive, their chosen lifestyle often resulting in them not living much longer than 500 years. During his time in Caelius Mikhail was seen as a strong, but sometimes idealistic or misguided leader. His siblings Raphea and Gabrella often had to keep a close eye on him so that he wouldn’t do something they considered drastic.
About a day before the Eclipse Seal Mikhail was able to figure out Ivalina’s plan to seal the Caelian and Arean territories only in time to grab his charge and fly to Earthra before he was sealed as well. Once in Earthra he started the Earthran branch of Guardians as the 1st Earthran Seraphim and his past was gradually lost from living knowledge other than his own.

As an Earthran Seraphim Mikhail was present during Emiris and Miuriel’s time growing up and became their weapons teacher as well as a close friend.

Extra facts:
Mikhail has an uncanny ability to know a lot more about something than one would think, Sometimes much to the dismay of others, and is also where Emiris got this attribute from.
He gives pretty good massages, but like Miuriel and cooking, he’s not looking to be professional.
Mikhail was also the Seraphim who was present during Emiris and Evah, and Miruiel and Kilik’s bonding ceremonies.
Mikhail was born with hypersensitive nerves, meaning that his nervous system registers everything at an extreme intensity. Eliza has made the comparison before that a simple paper cut to Mikhail would feel like almost cutting his finger off to someone else.

Likes:
Emiris and Miuriel. They were quite the close knit group while the younger two were growing up and still remained in contact even after getting their own charges.
Annoying people by keeping information from them.

Dislikes:
Strawberries. He ends up giving them to Emiris if he’s around.
