Foxglove!!! I made a craft for the Hadalmas BIG prompt 1: HadalCraft, of my lovely lil' myre Foxglove ! I really had no idea what to do for a craft for this week's prompt, so after attempting a pop-up card and being unhappy with how it was turning out, I decided to pull out the rest of my polymer clay and make a myre statue, 'cause that seemed easier? This fella's made out of tinfoil and polymer clay, and painted with acrylic paint 'cause I've reached that point where all the tiny pieces of colored polymer clay that I have aren't large enough to make something of worth out of the colors alone, and I have to paint my creations to get any of the colors right! Foxglove was pretty funny looking before I painted them--they were all sort of colors! A rainbow myre, one might say, and I took a photo of the statue before I painted it that you can check out below!
I'm super happy with how this came out! It's so fun to hold a minature Foxglove in my hands, and they're almost as long as my hand too! The paint's a little sticky unfortunately, but I expected that 'cause acrylic paint tends to be kinda sticky even after it dries, and if there're maybe a couple things I'd maybe add to this, it'd be actually modeling out Foxglove's fangs and nose with clay, and maybe their magic glands too, but still I'm very happy with this! Painting it was a bit tricky, but I think I did really good with that too!!
