Here's a sketch of Noel again from a side view and a little more detailed. :3 His colours are viewable here: aegeanbifrost.deviantart.com/a…So I guess there's no harm in spilling the beans. Noel is one of Kali's past incarnations, being the direct previous predecessor. He'd died at a young age, late 20's in Dreamtender years (25,000 years), by siphoning the late stages of nightmare sickness from a Dreamtender in distress who was in her final throes, before flying off into a barren, secluded zone within the Dreamscape where it couldn't spread, wherein it claimed his life. He was regarded as a hero for making a mandatory sacrifice for posterity's sake. There is little more Kali remembers of this iteration at this point in time.
Whilst Dreamtenders can harness abilities at will, alternating between them on the fly, Noel had a favouritism for ice breath and cryomancy.
I'mma stop rambling about him though lol

xD I remember wanting to drag my head against a wall drawing them. It's always fun starting out, and then in the middle it drives me crazy. Hopefully that's not the part people envy lol

Sadly, I don't. xD As much as I love snakes, I also love rodents, owning two rats myself, and acknowledge I may not have the stomach to feed a rodent, living or dead, to these beautiful noodles. Though I love admiring and holding them when I get the chance.

Ahh that's true XD;;; my fiancee was dying to hav a pet snek, but even he doesn't like feeding the chubber live mice... Live mice are too cute for that kind of fate lol X'D

Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me! It looks almost as if you drew it all on paper and went over it with ink. I know that's not the case but I get that feel from this one. Truly a masterpiece. Because let's face it. Not every work of art requires color to make it masterful.

I really love how the scales turned out, there's so much detail across the noodle head and the shading looks amazing, it's all evenly done and looks really natural~ Such spikey face

I know this may seem crazy, considering how many amazing arts you have and how many I absolutely adore, but this one... Maybe it's just me and my affinity for pencil sketches, but I'm in love with this. He is breathtakingly gorgeous. His amount of spikes and horns, the pattern of his scales, all remind me of the terrifyingly awesome dragons I've been seeing on Game of Thrones, while simultaneously consisting of your own unique style that makes him entirely his own beautiful beast...

Wow, icy you have made him quite noeledgeable! Or at least, thats what i want to think of him. If he was Kali-Bali's predecesor, I wonder how he would react to Kyrik if he crashed down instead.
But I do love the detail on this one holy shit. I think this is the first time I've seen you enjoy dragons in a while, as you did a double upload; with the same char no less! And it's a derg! I really love his design tho, and if you do a full body, I would love to see the differences and similarities between the two. Not gonna lie I'm very interested in the guy cuz of the design and his relation to Kali.
I might throw him into BoG as a cameo as I said, but we'll play it by ear

I'm not sure I'll go the distance to draw a full-body version of him in the near future, as that alone kinda sapped a good deal out of my momentary dragon kick. Though if I do, I'm probably gonna be a lazy ass and expand on this sketch as a full ref. xD It'll be a massive file like Kali's. It makes me happy to hear he grabbed your interest though. C: As far as differences go, their structures and designs are pretty different, yes. Though they look alike at a cursory glance due to colour and markings.

I finished them the quickest of any part of the bust for some reason. I assume it's because they had a sort of flow to them. They were just a headache to do was all. xD
