This is from Semester A of my BA product design degree, and it still amuses me to look at so i thought id share. i got a first for this project, ha.

The brief was to design a lunch box for 4-6 year olds that had to fulfill various critera (i wont go into them here).

Anyway, this is one of the three designs for the project. i was exploring the idea of children's desires to mimmick adults with their toy ironing boards, builders' hats, push-chairs, baby dolls etc and so this design is analogous to a womans hand bag.

The clear flexible casing contains gel, which helps insulate the chilled lunch and also allows for glow in the dark reflective hearts to float around inside.

After everyone saw this it's been hard to fight of allegations that i am indeed gay, but im not, i just have a dark side and a cute one

Modelled and rendered using maya 4.5. sorry the render isn't any bigger, when i can get hold of the large version i shall replace it.
