[ PERSONALITY ]
Charming and pleasant, Olivia has spent years ironing down the hairtrigger temper that used to plague her younger years...though that isn't to say that it is entirely gone. Like glass in the sea's currents, her harsh edges have been eroded to something softer, more elegant, but that does not change what she is - a sheath does not make a knife any less a knife. She is wily, innovative, and tactical, approaching a situation with the mind of a strategist and a will to win, and is not fond of taking "no" for an answer. By nature she is a maternal person and looks out closely for those within her syndicate - friends or not - and will do whatever's necessary to make sure they are safe and sound. Everyone is her kid, regardless of age. She can be petty if wronged, and has a tendency to hold what can become a very frightening grudge if left to her own devices with nobody to talk it out with, or if left to fester. Feeling at her best when she is in control of the situation, Olivia will work as hard as possible to maintain that power, as vulnerability has never done this woman any favours in the past.

[ BIOGRAPHY ]
Olivia has always been a driven woman, and these traits showed even when young. Raised by a teen mom and a man only recently enlisted in the air force, she'd been given a lot of structure. Her mother Alira had only recently moved to - at one point - Los Angeles with her family from Saint John, New Brunswick to go to school. It was here that she had met Olivia's father, and the two wed upon her pregnancy, making an honest woman out of her. Olivia was raised with her parents and travelled from base to base with her Father, who had eventually been stationed in Japan, being kept at the Misawa Air Base for a great deal of time...it was at this point that they decided perhaps the Japanese education system would do their child good and requested permanent station. Her father had died upon deployment a handful of years later, which had forced Alira - who wanted to keep her child in this school system - to apply for citizenship. It was perhaps both a blessing and a curse that she had gotten it.

Olivia was never the "shining star" honour student of the school but she was always good at science, and she did enjoy those courses...maybe not the math, no matter how good she was at the math, but the labs were fun. She was a bit of a troublemaker however, and would pick fights with people whom she felt deserved it, and this assisted in her befriending a few shady characters - and thankfully, some good ones as well. She cherishes these few friends to this day, as some have so lovingly remained with her. However, during her high school years she had also gotten involved in Japan's dirty underground world (which wasn't hard, as she lived in a low-income neighbourhood - her mother was single and raising her on her own after all). It was in no short order that Olivia had begun work with the lower ranks of the Lily syndicate dealing drugs and using her pretty little face to get what she needed. Her plan of course wasn't to cause trouble. No, no, she intended to use the money she earned through drug sales and gang work to help support her mother and pay rent, as her mother had recently gotten accepted to Medical School and they were having trouble making ends meet. The gang once under the rule of Hazaki was her extended family in years to come, and as Olivia took more shop classes in school and worked in the gangs garages, learned a massive amount about vehicles...And with time in her 10 second car, quickly found a talent in absurdly dangerous driving. Absurdly dangerous driving that worked. She'd offered her talents as a getaway driver before, and her main focus has been on this talent since then, going so far as to toy with police on any chases before firing the vehicle off to kingdom come and dodging from their grasp. You can't hold water in your hands forever, and so too could they never hold her for long.

Her mother, ever concerned on where the absolute hell her child was getting all this money, had eventually confronted her about it. Olivia, knowing wiser than to lie, explained the situation to Alira and her rapidly breaking heart.

This was one of the last face to face conversations she'd had with her mother, choosing to leave after paying off her mother's debts in full, and leaving a hefty sum to boot. She could know, but Olivia wouldn't risk her mother trying to pull her out. She was too far gone, too deep, and the best option was to keep her safe. From then on, the sydicate became her family, siblings and "children" both. Some had even gone so far as to become parental figures - from afar, that is.

Over the years Olivia has seen a fair amount occur in the syndicate however, including the defection of the old Boss and the climb of Fubuki. She'll trust the man, she'd been here long eough, but she has poignant concerns of the ramifications of Hazaki leaving. He knows so much...It isn't her place to act on these thoughts, and so she remains silent on them, but those close to her may hear the worried whispers of a woman unsure of the fate of what is now her dearest family - questionable as many of them are. She can love you without trusting you fully, my dear.

In her off time, Olivia had worked to develop a talent with cooking, finding herself a skilled chef and baker and always interested in learning new tricks and techniques to improve her hobby. In all honesty, had she not become so violently entangled in the chains of the criminal world, she would have liked to open a restaurant. Some days, she still dreams of this.
Not everything is meant to be, of course.

• Has dedicated years to entirely rebuilding a 1964 Jaguar E-Type and maintaining a 2002 Nissan GTR Skyline, which she has added basic ballistic defensive modifications, the natural additions of Nitro and turbo, some fairly extreme overhaul of the suspension system (allowing for some fairly dramatic allowances of jumps and forcing the vehicle to roll), tore out the interior for safer racer seats, a roll cage, and other safety related modifications. Her vehicle is built for speed and defense, but has the offensive addition of blades in the wheel wells which are built in with a hydraulic system to slash the tires of or at the very least damage the opposing vehicle. If there is anyone you should trust to get you out of a tight spot or upgrade your car in a not-so-street-legal-but-sure-is-handy way, she's a great point of reference.

The scowl was unnatural on her, but nobody could really blame her. It was really under there. "Maybe I'll just paint my nails and call it a day..." drifted through her mind. Who would know? Not you.
