Description Took all the advice from the WIP version and did a lot of subtle gradient shifting, as well as adding more layers just for color alone. Thank you for everyone that gave the helping advice to make this one complete.

I always like the science classes too, especially when they had great visual effects going on. Still remember exploding a balloon full of hydrogen in ninth grade. One kid also did a display with dried ice dropped in colored water, which ironically, influenced this piece in some ways.

I admire your persistence and your willingness to rework a piece until it's perfect. I find myself unable to do that most times (which I really consider a character flaw on my part).

Thanks, a lot of color tweaking added the much needed depth to this one. I'm a perfectionist most of the time so I'll spend the extra time if I think it can be improved enough to notice. Still wanted some more texture on this but just couldn't make it happen so I called it complete. Have to listen to the art and let it tell you when enough is enough.

The whites look much better now--less intense, and more blended to the picture.

Good going there. I still like how you kept those elements of the original that worked so well--the brightness of the "flame", the magenta in the bottom, and all those nifty bubble shapes.

I think I added three layers just to get them blended better but it was worth the extra headache.

I agree. It was.

My latest fractal, Devious Spirit, had the same thing going. I kept adding and adding layers and blending and tweaking them in Photoshop to make it look the way it does now. The original fractal looks similar, but the end result is more...colorful.

Put a lot of emphasis on color smoothness and blending. Had a tremendously difficult time finding textures though. Usually I find them really quick but this one gave me the hardest time. Fortunately I found some really cool things while making this and I have my next base to begin with from the variations I found hidden within this. Just have to get busy working a new piece.
