Originally believed to be little more than an upgraded GM Deliverance, The Defiance Gundam proved to be a Mobile suit worthy of the title gundam though little to nothing is known about the organization that created it except that they are very well organized, are well funded and have no loyalties to any side of any war....However their us against Zeon forces and EFF has proven to be nothing less but hostile.
Inspiration of the suit's design seems to stem a great deal from the Swift gundam and the almost feminine slender frame of the GM D but with capabilities on par or perhaps even greater than either model. However even if the Defiance isn't inspired by the Swift it's very likely that it to is a modular design like it's rival and very capable of being out fitted with a wide range of weapons and equipment.
Another fact that's worthy of note are the pilots of these suits, it's a well known fact that there are many mobile suits too far ahead for any human being to handle however Defiance Gundam Pilots seem to be in a class all their own and have proven to not only match the capacities of their suits but surpass them making them very dangerous and highly skilled foes some have even wondered if the pilots are superhuman or perhaps that they aren't human at all.
