Its a texture that is made for architectural means. For making Digital Art... or Render. Example... ([link] ) the materials used for this render, are maxwell materials...

This is very well seen, almost like a window within a window. Lovely colours and textures grace the repeating pattern and what makes this is the wall piece of stone that is different, the eye goes there first before exploring the rest of the composition yet always comes back to it as a grounding point in the image. there's a building just down the street from mine that is done up like a castle. there is a secondary building that up until now was UGLY. Well, they are refacing it in stone siding to try and make it look more castle-like. This is a shot of the wall in the entryway
