Description
This Alvin, the Chipmunk, he lives in a hole in my front lawn. Hes been hanging around for much of the spring and summer gathering sunflower seeds from the bird feeders and storing them. I guess it is never too early to start preparing for winter. Chipmunks are becoming less common in Nova Scotia now that the grey squirrel has begun to populate in the province. I like grey squirrels, but they are not native here and are beginning to become a problem for the native wildlife. We still have this little guy who actually seems quite tame.
