Description
Not a very common aircraft to see flying. This is a Westland Lysander a liaison aircraft used before, during and after WWII. Used in many roles from Tactical Reconnaissance and Artillery Reconnaissance, photographic reconnaissance and observation of artillery fire in daylight to name a couple. This Lysander owned by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is one of only 3 in the world that still fly (2 in Canada 1 in the UK). This lysander is painted up as a Target Tug.
