so basically toriel is the queen, and asgore convinces toriel that killing 7 humans is necessary for the freedom of the monsters, so asgore goes to the ruins to take the humans to her, and if any escape, the other monsters do the same.
toriel feels guilty for killing 7 children, but she doesn't hesitate like asgore in undertale.
i'm still deciding whether to swap asriel for monster kid or asriel for chara.
