this is weird, cause I was looking up reference for a drawing I wanna do called Ranger Kiss, not a wedding, but in the woods, the name should suggest what you'd see

Average growth rate is I think 7-9 inches a year. Took me 2 years to get near my waist! Just make sure the ends are trimmed every 4 1/2 to 6 months to keep damage off and you're good.

It's not as bad as you think. Pretty much everyone's hair grows about the same speed, some slightly faster or smaller. I visit here for some good hair care tips. [link] Most of them almost swear by going organic with hair products and combs, just to keep hair at it's healthiest. But some who do use "silicone" based stuff tell everyone how to use it without drying or nuking your hair.
Torrin Paige on YouTube (and LHC) has some great styles too, some good formal ones.
