Another bab that is supposed to get into the group with his friend whom I haven't completed the app-art for yet! SOON.

History:
Bastien was born in Coumarine City, Kalos, and spent there his whole life. As a single child of busy parents, he's never really lacked anything other than someone's attention and maybe a few friends. Having a hard time getting friendly with peers he was spending most of his time at home, reading books and learning cooking recipes as his parents weren't around enough for that either. This didn't help him socialize more as he was slowly sliding towards the nerdy-type of the community. With that came bullying that lasted quite a few years, and spread from elementary to middle school.
He's always had also a touch for music, his mother had a piano at home that he wanted to play but couldn't, so at the end of the elementary school he joined a music club, starting how to read notes, and how to play the keys. He was still quite a timid child even so, not being able to connect with most of the already well-trained music club members. It all began to change when his idol, a singer Jules Reynolds, during a special interview suggested he might be looking for young artists to help them start out in the music world, or even make rehearsal for possible band members as he did take it into consideration. That was the push Bastien needed. Thanks to that he's set his goals, and planned closely how to get there - to the top, and his idol. He started to break out of his shell, became braver against his bullies finally standing his ground. Even his look started to change as he wanted to look like someone Jules could actually play in a band with. With his change of attitude came his very first actual friend, Luca.
It wasn't a year after that Reynolds disappeared from the music scene, leaving everything behind and breaking his contracts. There were many hearsays as to why and how, the dropping reviews of his singles were also quite a bad omen.
Bastien felt betrayed.
His idol that sang of dreams, that often said how hard work pays off and that you can't give up, someone who gave him a goal in life just...dropped it all as if it were empty words. The young man became angsty, not dealing well with this disappointment. He grit his teeth though, and decided to go on, do what he likes although music slowly was shoved off to the background, becoming a hobby between him and Luca.
Enjoying cooking, and especially baking he concentrated on it, taking parts in various competition, and managing to win the second place in one of the Kalos Pastry Competitions, getting a monetary reward big enough so he could open a really small but his own store. Before that happened Luca came to him with the news - he was to move to his uncle's place, for an undefined period of time. That surely hit Bastien but he was adamant about following his plans. Luca, on the other hand, was pretty keen on taking Bastien with himself to Ivywood. He was also well informed, letting Bastien know of hearsays that said Jules Reynolds has been seen in Ivywood, but no one can surely confirm it.
That was enough to change Bastien's plans, and set his new goals. On the spot he made the decision - to go and confront the man.

Currently he is living in his cousin's house, together with Luca.

Others:
-has a bad eyesight, but usually wears contacts; at home where people can't see him uses glasses;
-is concerned about his look mostly outside where people can see and judge him; at home he cares less about his messy look not even stylizing his hair;
-isn't too well with social media stuff so doesn't really know how to use them well, nor knows the online dictionary people use;
-liking fantasy novels he actually enjoys playing board games, even D&D; he isn't good at video games on the other hand at all;
-often prepares jellies for his Sableye which look like jewels; they can never taste the same but they often make Hal busy and actually he enjoys them quite a bit; once in a while gets him minerals and cheaper gemstones that he can eat;
-can sing and play piano, and currently he has a keyboard at home;
-the look on his app is the casual clothing he wears; the work-clothing will probably be available as a separate sheet OTL;
-Luca (not yet in the group) acts at times like his guard dog especially when it comes to "shady girls";
-tends to carry around cookies with his shop logo on them to promote his workplace; if not he has always a leaflet on himself for that;

Relationship:
Jules Reynolds (old idol): a big reason for Bastien's change; he's disappeared from the music community and since then the boy can't get over the disappointment his idol left him. He's been really looking up to him, so this really hit Bastien strong.

Xearen Lightman (cousin): they haven't seen each other in ages, so their first meeting was full of mixed feelings; they both came though a lot and neither of them ever reached out to the other person. In the end the family bond, and Ren's hidden kindness prevailed and he was allowed to move in alongside Luca and Maury into the Lightman household. Ren in general acts like an older brother towards most younger people in the house, and can appreciate Bastien's hardworking attitude. He also really appreciated the amount of cooking he is doing in his place.

Alice Capricio (Ren's girlfriend/ NPC): she is a nice girl that's always really cheerful altho she has that anxious side to herself, which makes her a bit more relatable for Bastien. She is likes his sweets, and seems to generally not mind him, so thats a plus. Seems like she likes to play a matchmaker too though???

Luca Rosetti (best friend): they know each other a few years now, and he hasn't yet thought that he regrets this relation. Luca can be quite a quirky and sneaky person, which he tried to fix in the past but he's never been able to do that. He is aware that his friends sometimes has "sticky hands" but he accepts him as long as he doesn't do something really serious. It's not the best choice, but Luca accepts him in return the way he is too, and that's what's most important to him;

Maury Blanc (Luca's uncle): whent he boys arrived in Ivywood the plan was that they'd hang out at maury's place. Unfortunately for them turned out his apartment was in one of the buildings damaged by the recent weird crystal spawning phenomena in Ivywood. Lucky for them he not only took them both in but also got all of them a new place to live at. Maury seems to be quite charismatic and hard to get down, although he's recently had to accept a long-term relationship with his girl, Kyoko, so he is still learning how to cope with that. Overall he seems like an uncle he wouldn't mind to have himself;

Aiden Reynolds (acquaintance/Alice's niece/ Jules's niece): they just got to know each other as she was digging into his dirty laundry like there is no tomorrow. She seems like a nice and really skilled girl. She also doesn't seem to be too shy around him which slightly breaks through his loner-barrier. She is also Jules' niece about what Bastien doesn't know yet.
