Rambling ahead, go to second paragraph for actual news and more rambling in between

I'm home! As in, I just arrived, after 12 days in the hospital. I missed you guys, and I missed here too. And everything feels really different. I'm really sleepy, I'm happy, I'm in the verge of tears, and at the same time it feels like I'm in an alien place I'm getting used to? I don't know. The doctor at first said that I looked like a toddler trying to walk. And... To think that I can do it: get up, at any time I want, go get things myself. It all feels so new? I don't know how to explain or if I'm even being coherent right now. I need to sleep a little bit and maybe that's a mistake that I'm writing this before doing so, but at the same time I don't want to filter anything I'm saying. I want this to come out as genuinely as possible.

Surgery was successful and everything went as well as it could have. Now a piece of metal holds my back where it's always supposed to be. I can already walk, and that will prevent any herniated discs from forming again and provoking inflammation (which was affecting the nerves of both my legs, hence why I'd often have to drag myself with crutches).

I hope this also justifies the sudden break from the comic and eventually posting test art. Oh! And during the time I was there, the doctor was nice enough to get me a bunch of papers and a box of crayons, so I could do something other than just lie around. I thought I would show here the stuff I did with 6 crayons and a pencil XD

There's actually presentable stuff, one is a drawing of a bee that I edited (my roommate's mom drew over it before I took the picture, I managed to edit it out and add more details so it looks a bit better than the others), and a monarch butterfly, requested by one of the nurses to give her daughter, who was described to love butterflies and the red color. It's a shame that the crayons didn't have too much of vibrant colors, but it was fun to work with them after so long:
