Description The Elemental Sigils show first the name in FΓΆl, the language of ED, and then in common english.

This is a bit of a mind trip, so hang on, if you wish to comprehend what's going on in the chaotic maelstrom that is my creative mind.

The elemental sigils, and the order they are presented in, represent the levels of particle activity in each material state of the primordial matter known as the ether. The ancients who developed the system observed the relationships of these states in nature. Darkness begets cold, fire creates light, light vanquishes the shadow, you get the idea. The alloted each state in a beautiful mosaic that represented, like Aristotle first did, the elements and levels of the universe. This mosaic is a comprehensive guide to the relationship between each element and state in the universe.

The Sigil, when applied in theramancy and quantum etherics, manipulates the state according to the will of the user, or the programming of the device that employs it.

It was later that scientists created the much more substantial theory as these symbols not as elements, but rather quantum states.

I'll get around to making the great mosaic, known as The Grand Cross, soon.

The Light Sigil represents the highest state of etheric activity. This is where I can't depend so much on modern physics to give myself credit, and it becomes a sort of "fictional physics".

You see, the manifestation of this state is not the photon, which would be rather obvious, but a fictional particle I call the Y-Particle. This particle is responsible for the as of yet uncomprehended interactions between weak, strong, and electromagnetic force with gravitation. It's sort of the answer as why light responds to gravity, despite it having zero-rest mass. In this state, ceases to be merely a by-product of electromagnetic interactions, and becomes a state in and of itself, so to speak. The Y-Particle has an extremely erratic behavior, but responds to gravimagnetic matrixes, and this is how I explain force fields and lightshields in Ethereal Devoid.

This state is the nexus between the Light Sigil and the Shadow Sigil, and the explanation as to why electromassive states transmografy into a gravitational state, and how solid light constructs are formed.

Did I lose you somewhere?

Anway, use of the sigil grants Solid Light Synthesis, mastery grants solid light construct manipulation with the Y particle.

so i'm writing a story about a different dimension where instead of water life comes from light, it has magic and different races and the story itself probably wont become anything big but: would it be okay if i use this symbol as the standard compass? because i'm also making visuals and i would love a non standard compass on the maps

All ur sigils r so awesome I love can't get enough I think it's amazing how ur able to develop ur own language and world for it too but still have ties with reality I'm tryin to write a story and it's so eye opening at how much work goes into creating ur own world either in words or pics simply amazing!

Thank you!

I'll make more as soon as I can make some form of CAD run on my new mac.

Adobe Illustrator is great, but CAD beats the shit out of it on original art tools.
