I drew this a while ago; it was meant to be Anasterian Sunstrider (Kael'thas' father). At the time I felt too tired to start drawing the WC-style armor, so I didn't draw him wearing anything special, and as a result he just looked like a regular high elf, haha; I do want to redraw him with all the fancy regalia at some Β point. Incidentally, I think that originally Anasterian's character was loosely based on Tolkien's Thranduil (and in some ways Quel'thalas was loosely based on Greenwood/Mirkwood, especially as a formerly isolationist kingdom)-- so, I like to imagine that Anasterian was fabulous like Lee Pace's Thranduil.ΒRelated content
